Meg and Harri being Merri and making, since finishing uni in 2009.

We are Meg and Harri. Two friends from Brighton/ Nottingham. At uni we studied Fine Art and Philosophy and made and wore animal hoods. We played in them, cycled in them, learnt in them and kept our pet rat warm in them. When we finished uni in 2009 we had one idea quite literally on our minds: to make more hoods and sell them at festivals as a means to fund some fun. So we made a mess making 30 and made our way to the Green Man festival in Wales. When we got back, we did it again.

Now, nearly two years on, Merrimaking is existing as a design house dedicated to playful, bespoke pieces, and it's almost all we do! (And we now have our first ever employee, Emma!)
